What My Clients Are Saying

"I found myself struggling with severe cramps, abnormal periods, low libido, and overall not feeling 100%. After several appointments of trying to figure out what was going, I was finally diagnosed with PCOS (Poly-Cystic Ovary Syndrome). What a relief it was to finally have a diagnosis after years of guessing and doctors suggesting a hysterectomy as the final solution (which I was only 32 at the time and still had thoughts about having children).  My OB-GYN recommended nutrition counseling with Kaely as a next step.

At first I was hesitant to think that nutrition played THAT much of a role in my menstrual cycle and hormones.I thought it was a separate process that did it's own thing. Boy, was I wrong and it couldn’t be further from the truth.

After working with Kaely for 2 months we made modifications to my diet. Not the sweeping unsustainable changes, but the sustainable, long term changes that were easy to implement. We began with a food journal, then tracking macronutrients, and we took a look at my stress. We then finally made simple diet changes.  We increased exercise habits.

I feel like myself again! I remembered what it was like to enjoy life without being bogged down by symptoms. I felt in control of my body instead of letting my body control my life. With Kaely's guidance and an her ear that listened, I understood how important nutrition, stress management and exercise minimizes the impact of PCOS.  An integrative approach that includes nutrition as a focus is truly the best way to begin to feel better. I urge anyone who is dealing with issues related to hormones to take a deeper look into how nutrition and Kaely can improve their life. I am grateful for stumbling upon Kaely and her nutrition counseling."

Having a chronic digestive illness with no cure has always made eating a challenge. Battling severe bloat and food coma, along with hormonal issues like migraines and menstrual cramps were regular symptoms that I experienced, and finally decided NO MORE! Kaely and I worked together to determine that MRT/LEAP and DUTCH testing suited my situation the best. With regularly scheduled phone calls, any time of the day emails, and emotional texts (thanks for always being so encouraging and supportive, Kaely!), the hard work and commitment resulted in now living symptom free and eating normally. What a world of difference and positive impact Kaely has provided/gifted to me! The investment was WELL WORTH the life long benefits of eating mindfully without bloat, food coma, and migraines!

After two years of struggling with HARD CORE bloating, stomach cramps and irritation I hit a point where I was nothing but frustrated. I knew that I needed to figure it out. My best friend had known Kaely from graduate school and I figured I would try reaching out and man, I'm so happy that I did!

Kaely did an amazing job of listening to my symptoms and concerns. She explained all of my options and I decided to go with the MRT test and LEAP program. I had blood work done that identified my food sensitivities and from there Kaely prepared an 8 week eating program to help heal my gut.

I feel AMAZING! My stomach is not bloated anymore, I have found which foods agree with me and which don't. I haven't felt this good in over 2 years. As a bonus I even lost a few pounds! This program showed me how to try new foods and learn how to be creative with my meals!

When I reached out to Kaely I had recently been diagnosed with multiple ulcers, eosinophilic esophagitis and I was miserable. As an avid triathlete, frequent digestive issues were extremely limiting to my training and performance. I was initially nervous about embarking on the LEAP protocol but when I experienced a 76% reduction in symptoms within the first 2 weeks alone, I knew I could do it!

Fast forward to 2 months later and I am symptom free even with a few difficult curveballs life threw at me. Last weekend I competed in my first triathlon in over a year and a half and took 2nd in my age group! I am well on my way to my lifelong goal of competing in an Ironman and I am equipped with the knowledge of how to keep my digestive tract healthy and symptom-free. This program really changed my life! I am healthy again!

I reached out to Kaely because I was feeling stuck in a cycle of continually lowering calorie and not seeing the results despite a very high activity level. She coached me through slowly increasing my calorie intake to better support my body and activity level. This made me nervous initially but sure enough I started performing and recovering better in the gym, my energy levels improved and I began to see the results of my hard work.

Kaely also helped me make small but significant tweaks to my diet and lifestyle to better manage my endometriosis. After just a month of changing my diet I noticed a significant reduction in pain, bloating and hormonal symptoms. I was totally unaware of how powerful the connection between our food and our hormones were until this point and it dramatically improved my quality of life each month.

What I learned in our time together taught me how to fuel my body appropriately for my workouts, use food to balance my hormones and how to maintain my progress on my own. If you are feeling stuck, have hormonal issues or simply want to learn more about how you can better nourish your body I can't recommend her services enough!

I was very excited to learn about what foods have a negative impact on my body. After the testing I will admit there were a few surprises. I started the LEAP program in the following weeks and very quickly discovered just how some of those foods presented themselves in a negative way. I also found that many of the symptoms I was previously experiencing had gone away after eliminating certain foods from my diet for several weeks. This program was definitely life changing from the standpoint of how food impacts your body. Truly a learning experience that I will use the rest of my life. So happy I did this. The bonus of it all, I lost about 6 pounds. Many thanks to Kaely for her support and coaching throughout the entire program!

When I had gone in for my annual pap smear my doctor checked my BMI and told me I qualified to see a dietitian and that's when I met Kaely.  My first thought was this wont’ help.  All I am going to hear is what to eat and not eat and that I should exercise...I  was so wrong.  Kaely showed genuine concern not only for what I ate and my exercise routine but she was concerned for my whole being...my emotional state, my sleep patterns, my hormonal state etc.   She has been the one and only person in the medical field that ever checked my insulin level and found out that it was high and she informed me that high insulin is the pre-diabetes marker.

Our sessions were very informative and up building....I looked forward to our sessions and I always left encouraged and with a "I can do this feeling" so as I started applying what I was learning and gradually the weight came off and the labs normalized.  Another thing I liked about Kaely she had a more natural approach and she felt it wasn't always about popping pills.  She turned me on to the HEAD SPACE app that I use till this day to regain a sense of calm since I have a tendency to be anxious.  Kaely was always on top of it and AHEAD of it...that I really appreciated.  I highly recommend her as a Dietician, Practitioner, Therapist and friend.  Kaely is very knowledgeable and thorough.  I had never found anyone in the medical profession that genuinely cared and took the time to really listen and then help the way she has...she is AWESOME!

When I first met Kaely I was 187 lbs, and I also had high levels of insulin. Knowing that this could later lead to diabetes I knew that it was time for change, this was not only for myself but for my family.

Kaely  helped me change my life. She help me find the a healthier version of myself. She helped me understand how nutrition affects sleep and hormones. How your body needs proper sleep, nutrition and exercise for your body to function the way it is meant to. She developed a plan and helped me with setting small goals. The goals were not only about food, they were also to plan activities to help relieve stress. Because stress also impacts your hormones. I made so many changes with her guidance and support I got down to 140 lbs. She has made such a positive impact in life. I can honestly say that I would be lost without her.

In my experience what I found most difficult was to find the time. I came  to this conclusion, if my body is malnourished it’s only a matter of time before I develop a disease.  We always make time for the people we care about why not make time for ourselves the people that love you will support you for being healthier knowing you’re giving yourself more time to live and in the long run giving them more time with you. If you are someone that is considering  seeking her expertise. Please don’t hesitate not only is she kind, but also extremely knowledgeable in her field.
